I would like to recommend an exceptional real estate agent, Vanna Langdon, at Howard Perry and Walston Realtors in Cary (919) 874- 8788. Vanna recently helped my husband and I sell our house and purchase another. She has an excellent eye for detail, and is very knowledgeable with respect to real estate. She was always very prompt at returning our phone calls, very pleasant and patient in showing us lots of homes, and has an incredible amount of energy!!

About 8 months before we wanted to put our house up for sale, we wanted to meet with an agent and get some pointers on prepping the house for sale. I called several agents and Vanna was the only one who was willing to take the time to meet with us. She met with us and provided an accurate Market Analysis of our home, which included several tips on what would make the home more appealing to the buyers. Beyond this meeting, Vanna provided listings to us by mail, to keep us informed of what was out there on the market to buy.

In preparing our house for sale, we worked from the tips Vanna had suggested in her Market Analysis. In putting our house on the market, we were impressed with the professional booklet that Vanna assembled on the “special features” of our house, as well as the informational handouts for prospective buyers. Once on the market, we had two offers by the second day of showing which resulted in our selling the house for a higher price than our asking price.

I give Vanna all the credit for our house selling so quickly.

Vanna also helped us in finding another house … and we had to find one quickly since our house sold so fast. Vanna was incredible! She was patiently devoted to helping us find the house that we wanted. As we approached closing, there were a few times when my husband and I couldn’t get off work to meet with a repairman or inspector. Vanna readily took time out of her busy schedule to meet with them on our behalf.

My husband and I had a truly great experience working with this agent!  I highly recommend her to others looking to buy or sell their house.

I am writing this letter to you to express my sincere appreciation to your organization and one of your very talented agents, Vanna Langdon, of your Cary office.

Recently, I accepted an executive position with a Cary, NC based firm and relocated from the Northern Virginia area. For my family, this was our sixth move in nine years! Given that my new employer requested that I begin my new role right away, I had very little time to search for a home.

A good friend, who also relocated to our same neighborhood, referred Vanna Langdon to me. Since we really only had a couple of weekends to conduct our search, I impressed upon Vanna the need for efficiency in the search process as well as the various, unique family requirements of our new home.

Vanna was very efficient! She listened to our requirements and only showed us properties that matched our criteria. In fact, we ended up purchasing the first home we looked at!

More than just efficient in the search, Vanna acted as if she was purchasing this home herself. She was my liaison with the builder as he was putting the final touches on our parade home. She arranged for the inspector and even crawled under the house with him to thoroughly inspect the foundation, footings, pipes, etc.! She made all the necessary appointments for the appraiser, closing attorney, walkthroughs (of which there were two!) and really was my “eyes and ears” while I was busy commuting back and forth between Virginia and North Carolina for work.

I have experienced my fair share of agents in the past, but Vanna was undoubtedly the best agent, assistant, inspector, and friend during this transaction that I have ever worked with! She is truly an asset to your organization and is a credit to your reputation!

My wife and I would like to take this opportunity to express our appreciation for the services provided to us by Vanna Langdon

I first spoke with Vanna over the phone in November 97. I explained I was in a relocation situation and timing was everything. Our housing priorities were long and only a few were negotiable. Vanna quickly went to work and began faxing me a wide selection of Cary homes in the most desired neighborhoods. A 100 page detailed binder was later given to me when we met. I only had a few hours that day before returning back to Indiana. Vanna sensed my urgency and was quick to recommend we stay with a short list. Vanna continued to impress me during the construction phase of our home. She called us regularly and sent us polaroids of the house. Vanna also found us a reliable building inspector who provided us with a detailed inspection of the house. Even today, months after closing, she is always making sure our needs are being met.
